Currently the Web site consists of 4 servers.
soe.umich.edu - Or static HTML Web server. The UM Webmasters ensure the system are running and perform backups of data. SOE also has its own backup of Web data.
cgi.soe.umich.edu - This system allows us to run cgi scripts. Currently our calendar runs on this system. ITCS ensures the server is running and performs backups while the SOE uploads and works to get the scripts on the system to work.
sitemaker.soe.umich.edu - This system is used to run our Sitemaker custom solutions. The system maintenence and backups are performed by ITCS, while SOE develops the custom programs.
cod.soe.umich.edu - File server as well as testing html server. Also does some Quicktime streaming. The Webmaster performs maintence and backups for this system.
