Links to other sites from our site
On your mini sites, we can post links to resources on the Internet to better help out your readers. You may receive a request to post a link to another Web site on the specialty site. We cannot prevent someone from asking you to put a link on your specialty site, but there is a self-serving interest for the request. If the site gets a link on our site, their ability to be found on Google will increase dramatically. Ninty five percent of these requests are usually inappropriate. Be a good judge and forward us the links to post that you feel will increase the value of your pages.
As a general rule, on the School's website, including program pages, we only link to outside sites that have a direct connection to the School's mission or functions, e.g., Rackham or research projects and centers affiliated with the school. If you receive a request for a link to/from an official School of Education page, please forward the request to the Information Officer for response.
