DUTIES:
Assist research faculty and
staff with the creation of a grant proposal. Word-process, edit, and format grant
proposals and manuscripts using APA publication guidelines. Acquire documents
from the University library system using MIRLYN, Search Tools, and the
Internet. Assist in preparation of conference posters using MS PowerPoint. Organize
and file confidential documents according to HIPAA regulations. May assist with
language and literacy testing of kindergarten students.
DEPARTMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have completed a BachelorŐs degree, preferably in linguistics, education, or psychology. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Must have experience using UM library for research purposes. Must have very good attention to detail and interest in child language development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires the academic knowledge of a discipline plus the ability to translate, adapt and apply this. Must have valid driver license with fewer than 6 points.
