Majoring in Social Studies at the University of Michigan gives you many opportunities to work with faculty members who are leaders in History and Social Studies Education.

Examples of current projects include:
- Studying the ways that history teachers learn to use inquiry-based pedagogy in the classroom
- Working with museum educators to design problem-based curriculum that uses museum resources and artifacts.
- Designing and studying technological tools to help students engage in historical inquiry
