- February 4: Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop for Qualitative Research in the Social Sciences: Workshop by John Creswell, Professor of Educational Psychology, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine, University of Michigan on “Mixed Methods Research: The State of Art,” 11:30 am - 3:30 pm, 411 West Hall, Ehrlicher Room. Attendance at this workshop is limited and possible by pre-registration only, with priority given to advanced graduate students and faculty. Boxed lunches are available for $5.00/person. The candidacy of Democratic presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have brought to light issues of race and gender in politics. But what are the real issues at hand?
