Research Office at the School of Education
The Office of the Associate Dean for Research (ADR) helps faculty write the best possible proposals, run grants efficiently and appropriately, and support faculty as they prepare and submit proposals for submission to all funding sources. In preparing proposals, the Associate Dean and support staff will:
- Provide help in crafting budgets
- Discuss feedback on the structure, purpose and substance of the proposal when requested
- Provide support with preparing subcontracts
- Help to ensure that proposals conform to funding source guidelines and format
School of Education faculty should discuss initial proposal ideas with the Associate Dean for Research, Joseph Krajcik. To assist the ADR office in its functions, the Associate Dean for Research and his office needs time to review and approve all proposed budgets emanating from the School of Education. To meet proposal deadlines, that interval must take into consideration the time necessary for processing by the University Division of Research Development and Administration (DRDA). Those considering proposals should consult with the Associate Dean for Research Office regarding those time constraints.
