Characteristics of Successful Programs in College Calculus

This projects seeks to identify the factors that contribute to the success of calculus programs, to understand how these factors are utilized in highly successful programs, and to disseminate this information to help departments build on these insights. Sixteen colleges and universities have been selected to be part of case studies of mathematics departments in which the calculus program is successful. Mesa is the leader of the team conducting the case studies at two-year colleges.
