I first came to the University of Michigan for the Math Education master's program. After realizing that I would not find all the answers to my many questions by the time the master's program was over, I transitioned into the doctoral program. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor, I taught high school mathematics at a small boarding school in Vermont. Some of the highlights over the last few years have been getting to know professors and fellow students, working on interesting research projects, and exploring southeastern Michigan on my bicycle.
