Why your program? The program at the University of Michigan was attractive given the scope of my interests.

The best part of SOE so far: I've been given plenty of opportunities to sharpen and enhance my strengths, and I have been challenged to tackle new skills and knowledge. I also love that I have had so many opportunities to pursue my interests in a variety of capacities across the university, which have been facilitated by my advisors and colleagues in the School of Education.

After graduation: I would like to pursue faculty roles, but I am most committed to research roles after graduation.

Teach me something! UMich has so many opportunities to get involved and active (physically, socially, academically, etc) that it can be both exciting and overwhelming. Feel free to reach out to older students for advice on activities on campus and around Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. (Also, do not be afraid to venture into Ypsi!)
