Teresa A. McMahon, School of Education

Teresa McMahon teaches Elementary Social Studies Methods, Introduction to Teaching in the Elementary School, and is a field instructor.  From 2001-2006 she was the project manager for the Center for Proficiency in Teaching Mathematics (CPTM) at the University of Michigan. A collaborative project with the University of Georgia, CPTM was an NSF-sponsored project that focuses on how to improve the professional preparation of teachers of mathematics. McMahon has a PhD from Indiana University and her research interests focus on how to support collegiality and reflection in the practice of teachers and teacher developers.

McMahon teaches courses in the following program(s): Elementary Teacher Education (ELMAC); Elementary Teacher Education.
