Rusi (Ruth) Li

First Year, Joint Ph.D. Program in English and Education

Ruth Li's research interests include composition pedagogy, digital literacy, and new media studies. Her work examines innovative approaches to supporting students' writing, as well as investigates the ways in which cognition and collaboration change in computer-mediated environments. 

Having earned a B.A. in English from Wellesley College and an M.A.T. in English Education from Brown University, she taught high school English in charter schools in Utah and Florida for three years. Starting in the fall, she will teach first-year composition in the English Department Writing Program.
