Graduate Student Instructor
Andy Kwok is a second year doctoral student in Teaching and Teacher Education within Educational Studies. His primary research interest revolves around urban secondary teacher preparation with other interests including multicultural education, the impact of experience on urban teaching, and classroom management. He currently works as a research assistant with Nancy Songer on the Changethinking Project and Matt Ronfeldt on Transition to Teaching. He also seminar and field instructs secondary science Teach for America Students. Before entering the doctoral program, he taught secondary science in the Bay area and has a B.S. in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan.
