Where do you HAIL from? Currently, I split time between MI & MN, and my heart also lives in Seattle!

Prior degree(s): University of Michigan (BA); Seattle University (MA)

Before coming to UM: With a multifaceted seventeen year career as an educator, nonprofit professional, and researcher focused on individual and organizational development, I am dedicated to identifying and nurturing leaders to initiate and sustain positive change. Most recently I had been working at the American Cancer Society in Denver as the Planned Giving Director for Colorado, Wyoming, and Alaska and volunteering with MetroVolunteers.

Why your program? I chose U-M and the SOE because of the rigorous attention to methodology in social science research and because of the clear commitment to advancing the role of higher education in the public good.

The best part of SOE so far: My cohort - no question!

After graduation: I am leading academic partnerships and launching a global education initiative at Oakland Community College.

Teach me something! Furstenberg , Bird Hills, and Barton Nature Areas. Don't miss Taco King either!
