Why your program? After leaving the state of Michigan for a couple of years, I knew that I wanted to jump back into the world of postsecondary education (and be closer to family), and I was fortunate enough to start my Higher Education career at the University of Michigan. The outstanding faculty, and variety of concentrations drew me to the University of Michigan, and I could not be happier with my choice.

The best part of SOE so far: My peers! I am so thankful to be a part of a diverse cohort that hails from all different parts of the country, and bring a variety of perspectives and backgrounds to discussions - both in class and out of class.

After graduation: Employment! I am looking forward to taking my degree and support enacting change at broad levels for students.

Teach me something! The Brandon Center in the School of Education was my home away from home! Plus, it has a free soft drink machine (just supply your own cup).
