Field of Study: MA Higher Education-Student Access and Success

Year in Program: c/o 2014

Age: 25

Geographic Region: Midwest

Undergraduate: Denison University

Prior to UM: Prior to coming to the University of Michigan, I was an undergraduate admission counselor at Case Western Reserve University.

Why your program? I chose Student Access and Success because I am passionate about student development and issues of access. This concentration allowed me to take many courses that inspired and spurred my interest in working in student affairs.

The best part of SOE so far: The best part of SOE has definitely been my cohort! I have been surrounded by such intelligent, passionate people for the past year!

After graduation: I finish my program in the summer of 2014 and looking for a position working closely with students in some aspect of student life.

Teach me something! The Michigan Union is chock full of anything you might need while on campus and is conveniently located on Central Campus! If you need help figuring out how to get involved on campus, make sure to check out the Center for Campus Involvement!
