Before coming to U-M: College Advisor for Pennsylvania College Advising Corps

Why this program? I appreciated CSHPE's interest in access and social justice through the lens of higher education. I wanted to be part of a diverse, engaged community, and at Campus Visit Day I recognized the high level of collaboration (rather than competition!) amongst students, faculty, and staff.

The best part of SOE: I really enjoyed the internship component of the program (it led to my current role!) and found the coursework challenging and robust.

After graduation: I am the Associate Director for the Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars (a first-year living-learning community) at the University of Michigan.

Teach me something! While Ann Arbor is known for its cold winter, the summer activities are a lot of fun! The campus and town clear out and there are a lot of fun and free things to do downtown.
