A December 30, 2010, article on the website, titled University of Michigan revamping the way it trains teachers features Bob Bain, Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Laurie Sleep, Elizabeth Davis, and Elizabeth Birr Moje. The article focuses on some of our innovations, including the rotation of teaching interns through rounds of area classrooms, the use of video, and the emphasis on practicing skills.

Bob Bain is an associate professor, School of Education; and an associate professor, Department of History, College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.

Deborah Loewenberg Ball is William H. Payne Collegiate Chair, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor, and dean of the School of Education.

Laurie Sleep is a research investigator.

Elizabeth Davis is an associate professor.
