Stephen Best's curriculum used by Native American middle-schoolers exploring science and language

An article in the June 14, 2011, Record Update covers a program for a group of 20 Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa indians who spent a week at Camp KinoMaage, hosted by the university's Biological Station. The program included language and science, based on a curriculum developed by Stephen Best. William Collins, executive director of the university's Center for Educational Outreach, described the curriculum as "outstanding."

Stephen Best is a research program manager at the School of Education.
