I am delighted to share the good news that Melinda Richardson is the 2016 recipient of the Patricia A. Natalie Staff Award for Excellence. This award was established to honor the memory of Pat Natalie, a beloved colleague, mentor, friend, and long-time member of the School of Education community who died of cancer in 2008. The award is presented annually to a staff member who demonstrates dedication, is committed to excellence in all aspects of work, and is a strong team contributor. Melinda is the assistant director of the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education and is known for her deep commitment to students, her helpful and collaborative nature, her pleasant demeanor, and her encyclopedic knowledge of school and university policies and procedures. She handles all of her many responsibilities with professionalism, efficiency, patience, and dependability. Please join me in congratulating Melinda on this great honor!
