Forbes feature story examines study by Barry Fishman and colleague

A post on the Forbes website takes a look at a study conducted by Barry Fishman and Jan Plass of New York University (along with SOE PhD student Rachel Snider), “Empowering Educators: Supporting Student Progress in the Classroom with Digital Games.” Fishman said, “…Our study indicates that teachers who use games for formative assessment conduct assessment more frequently and report fewer barriers.” Read the post here.
