Elizabeth Moje is quoted in a story in The University Record on a symposium by the university’s Transforming Learning for a Third Century initiative (TLTC). The symposium brought together faculty members who received grants focused on engaged teaching and learning from the TLTC grants program. The symposium was developed to share best practices, developments and outcomes, and to “think big” about engaged education at U-M. Moje, who was a facilitator at the symposium and is on the Third Century Initiative selection committee, asked the group, “How do you engage in the transformation work and still do what you’ve been doing?” SOE faculty members Leah Bricker, Debi Khasnabis, Liz Kolb, and Shari Saunders, all TLTC grant recipients, also participated in the symposium. Elizabeth Birr Moje is George Herbert Mead Collegiate Professor of Education and Arthur F. Thurnau Professor; Dean of the School of Education
