Deborah Ball receives Educational Research Award

Deborah Ball has received the Educational Research Award from The Council of Scientific Society Presidents (CSSP). The award is given to honor significant and outstanding achievement in educational research that improves children's learning and understanding. This recognition is for leadership in the development and application of educational techniques based on research and evidence.

“Deborah Ball was selected for the CSSP Educational Research Award based on her outstanding research and contributions to teacher education, mathematics education, and the implications for educational policy,” said Patricia Simmons, chair-elect of CSSP. “Her accomplishments as a leader in education and her recognition as an eminent scholar and educator led the Council of Scientific Society Presidents to nominate and select her as the recipient of our award.”
