Proposals for the Global Challenges for a Third Century grant program due to SOE Research Office on February 27

Tags: deans updates, faculty, research

SOE faculty members are encouraged to submit proposals to the university’s Global Challenges for a Third Century grant program. The program, which is part of President Coleman's and Provost Hanlon's Third Century Initiative, aims to inspire and cultivate transformative ideas about how to address some of the greatest challenges facing the world today. Given that education is both a global and challenging enterprise, it would be ideal to have strong representation from the SOE on this important research initiative. Proposals are to be 1 to 2 pages long, and funding of up to $300,000 is available. If you decide to pursue this opportunity, you will need to submit your proposal to the SOE’s Research Office by Wednesday, February 27, for review and approval (signature). If you would like to discuss the initiative or a possible proposal with Elizabeth Moje, please contact Angie Underdahl as soon as possible to set up an appointment.
