Betty Overton-Adkins and National Forum awarded grant by AASCU
Dr. Betty Overton-Adkins and the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good was awarded a grant from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) for the “Millennium Leadership Project Curriculum”. The National Forum will assist AASCU in offering a variety of program activities for the Millennium Leadership Institute (MLI), including the development of case studies and a series of webinars to support the leadership development
MLI is a national program focused on developing leaders in public higher education institutions. The program activities under this grant are “by invitation” and are designed to highlight contemporary issues facing higher education leaders, lessons from recent scholarship, and requested special constituency issues exploring challenges related to the group's interests. The webinars will feature national speakers and authors. Under this partnership, the National Forum will support the AASCU's Millennium Leadership Fellows Program in conjunction with its other national programs (organized under the umbrella of the New Leadership Academy). Millennium Leadership Institute (MLI) participants will be linked to the resources and activities of the National Forum, and the National Forum will become a partner with AASCU in resourcing MLI.
