Barry Fishman featured in an article on online professional development in Scholastic Administr@tor magazine

Barry Fishman and his research comparing outcomes between online and face-to-face professional development programs are featured in the Winter 2011 issue of Scholastic Administr@tor. Preliminary findings from Fishman's six-year-long research study show no differences in outcomes between online and in-person training. The article is accompanied by a sidebar checklist of considerations for use when planning effective online professional development programs, based on Fishman's work.
