Get the latest application deadlines here.

Since the launch in 1991 of an innovative Master’s degree program by the University of Michigan School of Education, students have had an unparalleled opportunity to become outstanding teachers and educational leaders capable of promoting original change in a variety of educational settings. Because of the Master of Arts with Certification (MAC) Program’s unique timeframe, highly qualified professionals (e.g., engineers, attorneys, chemists, medical professionals, automotive executives) interested in a career change have been attracted to the School of Education. This intensive program enables the School of Education to provide highly skilled and trained teachers who have work experience in other professions… one of the most urgent needs of today’s schools.
