Upon acceptance into the CSHPE master’s program, all students will be given a detailed description of the internship matching process. Highlights include that each student will be:
- Be provided with access to a CTools website that lists all internships currently available for the upcoming year.
- Supply a current resume to CSHPE.
- Be asked to provide a ranked list of those internships to which he or she is interested in applying.
- Send a cover letter to each of the internships named on ranked list.
- Interview either in person or over the phone with those internships that selected candidate for this stage of the process.
- Make a decision among internship offers and communicate that decision to internships and CSHPE.
If you do not find internships that match your interests, you may instead elect to research potential positions in offices across University of Michigan or in other area institutions. CSHPE may be able to offer limited support for this path.
