Helen Kim, Master of Arts in Educational Studies with Elementary Teacher Certification
Having gone to the University of Michigan as an undergraduate, I knew that I wanted to continue my graduate studies here in the School of Education at the University of Michigan. Our school's vision to raise the leaders and best, with our passion for teaching and learning, has become what I am pursuing as well. Prior to being a student in the Master of Arts in Education with Elementary Teacher Certification (ELMAC) program, I was fresh out of college and ready to start the next chapter in my life. The summer before I applied to this program, I had the opportunity to travel to Asia on a mission trip with my church and worked with children and their families in Indonesia and Hong Kong.
