BEGIN THE KELLOG PLANNING GRANT IMPLEMENTATION
April 3, 2008
The Education Leadership Center in partnership with other schools within the university and
select school districts combine to respond to the needs of districts.
Implementation of the Kellogg Planning Grant focuses on schools, families and communities – a six month planning grant which reaches beyond evidenced based programs or services within the schools to adding evidence based programs or services within the student’s families and communities which work separately in schools, families and communities but when combined produce a multiplicative impact on student achievement particularly when poverty is involved. This approach requires partnerships between schools within the university and select school districts in Michigan.
