The study of curriculum and the practice of curriculum development and implementation place experts in this field at the center of the educational system. It touches on and is influenced by national, state, and local policy; instructional programs; teaching and teachers; community concerns; systems of schooling; and most importantly, students and their development through school. The MA program in Curriculum Development helps students develop this expertise.
