I decided to pursue my masters degree on a part time basis to enhance my practical experience in higher education by integrating it with student development and higher education theory. Although I was sure about what I wanted to do with my career and what I needed to do to advance my knowledge base, I was apprehensive about attending school part time. What start as a very anxious return to academia has resulted in 2.5 years of fulfillment and enlightenment. The faculty, staff and fellow students of CSHPE have been extraordinarily responsive to my needs as a student, professional, and most importantly, as a person.
