Enhancing Professional Education
The improvement of education—policy, research, and practice—depends on effective and skilled professionals. And such professionals require first-rate training. What knowledge and skills are required for effective practice? How can professionals be better prepared for practice—to do as well as to know? Our research leads to the design of exemplary curricula in the professional education of teachers, school leaders, higher education faculty, and other practitioners. We also study how to prepare professionals for their work.
