EDUC 718. Critical Race Theory in Education

This course overviews critical race theory (CRT) in education, an analytical framework that examines and challenges race/racism and other forms of subordination shaping disparate educational opportunities for Communities of Color. Students will explore CRT's intellectual geneologies, its origins in schools of law, and its applications to the field of education.
