Assessment and instructional practices for teaching language and literacy to K-12 culturally and linguistically diverse with attention to standards, proficiency level descriptions, differentiation, formative assessment, and communication with parents. Emphasis on beginning to intermediate level language learners. Includes designed field experiences.
