Building Renovation Updates

Our 100-year-old building is in need of updating to make possible the kinds of teaching, learning, and collaboration that are crucial for our programs Your gift will help support needed upgrades in technology, classroom and lab enhancements, collaborative learning spaces and improved events spaces. Renovations to rooms, offices and building infrastructure are also needed.

The School of Education received funding from the Provost Office in 2010 to assist with improving the school's heating and cooling systems and restrooms located on the south side of the School of Education building.

Over the past year we have been fortunate in securing additional funds to renovate the Lounge, Tribute, Science lab, a classroom on the 2nd floor and administrative offices for Teacher Education and the Office of Student Affairs.

We will also be improving the fire safety system in the building as well during this renovation.

The generosity of our donors has gone a long way toward updating this building to adapt to current needs. However, there is still much to be done. Your gift will help support needed upgrades in technology, classroom and lab enhancements, collaborative learning spaces and improved events spaces. Renovations to rooms, offices and building infrastructure are also needed.
