125 YearsIn honor of the 125th anniversary of the Chair of the Art and Science of Teaching here at the University of Michigan, this conference focused on a variety of perspectives on the connections of disciplines to their pedagogy.  It also signaled our recommitment to the serious education of teachers and to renewed self-consciousness about undergraduate teaching in the disciplines.  Attention to these issues is central to the articulation and development of our collective commitment to diversity and equity and access to education.

Sponsored by the University of Michigan Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs

The 125th anniversary conference took place in the Rackham Amphitheater/Assembly Hall
